WORLD CHEESE AWARDS 2013

Again we are news in this year 2013, have been awarded by 4 of our cheeses in the World Chesse Awards 2013:

     - Silver Medal for Ecological Goat and Cheese Cow.
     - Bronze Medal for Goat Cheese "Farcellet" and the Creamy goat cheese.

These four awards make it BETARA the most awarded artisan cheese producers in Catalunya in the 2013 edition of the World Cheese Awards.

 

4 Nous premis aquest 2013 :

Un cop més som Noticia, aquest any 2013 han estat premiats 4 dels nostres formatges al World Cheese Awards 2013 :

  • Medalla de Plata pel Cabra Ecològic i pel Formatge de Vaca.
  • Medalla de Bronze pel Formatge de Cabra de Farcellet i pel Formatge de Cabra Cremós.

Aquests quatre reconeixements fan que Betara sigui la formatgeria més premiada de Catalunya en la edició 2013 dels World Cheese Awards.

“The ecological” : Natural first-class-quality product,  The milk rich in linoic acid (coming from grass), of these cheeses can provide 70% more of OMEGA 3 acids, more vitamins and more minerals, with a unique flavour and soft texture, without any synthetic additives or pesticides.
A product made of quality AA milk, “the highest possible”.

Approximate Weight : 0.5kg,

“The Great Reserve”

Extra mature cheese :  Sheep´s cheese with a long ripening process, destined to be kept for a long time, this long-ripening cheese concentrates  its scent for a time beyond suspicion.  It is an intense product of the manchego cheeses, with a concentrated flavour of sheep´s  milk and rennet, with vegetable finish, and very appreciated by cheese fans.

Approximate weight : 3kg.

 

Small cheese from sheep :  The softest of our great range of cheeses, concentrated texture, deep yellow color, smells animals, a cheese with intense flavor. For fans of good cheese, enjoy it slowly, accompanied by a cured good wine and a good seasoned bread.

Winner at the World Cheese Awards 2010 and 2012 with a silver medal.

“Romero cured”

“Romero cured” : Cheese with rosemary: scented with true herbalist´s rosemary, its character  resides in this herb. Made of sheep´s milk and wrapped in rosemary, combining the intense cheese scent with that of the fresh aromatic herb. A unique combination which will make you rediscover scented products.

Matured Blue Cow : as the name suggests, one of those cheese to remember ... especially after eating. Intense odor, saline typical of blue cheese, which gave way to a moist and buttery texture, slightly grainy to explode tastes spicy, salty and intense enough to be remembered as one of the best blues country. Ideal compare the taste with additional sweets (jelly or jam pr prickly pear, brioche and some sweet wine, the truth)

Small Matured : A cheese of medium ripening time, with a clean, compact rind, of intense, slightly dairy flavour, with a point of salt, results to be an ideal option to enjoy cheese at any time of the day.
